DIY - Pumpkin Spice Lotion In Frosted Glass Straight Sided Jars

• 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
• 1/2 cup coconut oil (solid form)
• 1/4 cup shea butter
• 1/4 cup sweet almond oil (or any carrier oil of your choice)
• 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice mix (or a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
• 10-15 drops of pumpkin spice essential oil (optional for extra fragrance)
• 4 oz glass jar

1. Initial Preparation
   In a double boiler melt the coconut oil and shea butter gently stirring occasionally. Once melted and combined, remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
2. Combine Ingredients
   In the same bowl add the pumpkin puree and sweet almond oil stirring well to combine. Then add the pumpkin pie spice mix into the mixture. Adjust the amount to your preference if you want a stronger scent. For more potent fragrance, you can also add 10-15 drops of pumpkin spice essential oil. Stir to incorporate evenly.
3. Final Steps
   Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes or until the mixture begins to solidify around the edges. Using a mixer, whip the partially solidified mixture for 2-3 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy to give your lotion a creamy texture. Once whipped, transfer the pumpkin spice lotion into clean glass jars.
