Bug Bite Itch Be Gone Balm Recipe

  • 2 tbsp beeswax
  • 2 tbsp cocoa butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 25 drops of essential oil (you can use a combination of the following: tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, chamomile)
  • .15 oz Plastic Tubes
  1. Combine Ingredients
In a double boiler melt the coconut oil and shea butter gently stirring occasionally. Once melted and combined, remove the bowl from the heat.
  2. Add Essential Oil
Mix in the tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, and chamomile essential oils quickly because after being removed from the heat the mixture will begin to harden fast.
  3. Final Steps
With a small funnel fill the plastic lip balm tubes with the mixture and then let the tubes sit at room temperature for a few hours until cooled and wholly hardened before capping.
